I think I'll pass on The Amazing Spider-Man 3.. This is exactly what big summer movies ought to aspire to: never short on dazzle, but unafraid to let us catch our breath once it's been taken away.. Director Gareth Edwards bloats the film with human figures that never spring to life and sabotage the primal story.. It's pretty much business as usual: one personality trait per turtle (with the most screen time for party-dude Michelangelo), lots of wisecracks, plenty of thin-crust product placement ...
