At the screening, in between laughing fits, people around me whispered, in awed tones, "B movie, 1956.". Mostly "Lockout" is lost in space.. It's fun, it's sad, and it's kind of sad that it's so much fun.. . Anderson makes often-inspiring use of the 3-D effects, though he never quite tops the opening Shibuya Crossing bloodbath.. Hot Tub Time Machine simmers right along like so many Jacuzzi bubbles popping with a carefully calibrated mix of sight gags, sex jokes and baby boomer references.. Like ...
